After a very good bowling spell by the Cavaliers which saw the Colts struggling at 21 for 4, the innings was steadied by J.Gibson who batted very sensibly for 37.The innings would have been very short of runs had it not been for the rescue by Sam Vahdahi who realised that he might be running out of partners hit a quick 44 not out.
The final total was a respectable 130 which at this time of year is a good total.
The Cavaliers in reply probably thought the task might be a little too straightforward. With some accurate bowling from Toby Lelean and Ben Chamberlain the Cavaliers really struggled at 4 for 17. The fightback began with Simon Stokes(22) and Clive Henderson(54). However this effort was not enough and the Cavaliers landed up 10 short on 120.
Man of the Match; Sam Vehdahi
