Juniors

RF Juniors - 2024 Season

Roehampton CC and Fulham CC are in partnership to deliver training, coaching and competitive cricket to children and young people (both boys and girls) from under 8s to under 18s.

This year we have entered 30 teams predominantly in to the Surrey Junior Championship with all age groups represented and also have access to a large cohort of top coaches who operate at our venues on both sides of the river. Those venues include South Park (Fulham), Putney Heath (our home ground), Barn Elms and St. Paul's school.

We operate all year round with Winter months being indoors. We tend to try and stay outdoors as long as possible, so we often get a full Autumn in prior to the weather closing in. We run squad training sessions for members and various other courses that the children can sign up to – there’s a variety of venues, age group and ability options to choose from. All sessions are staffed by qualified ECB coaches.

Summer 2024 Playing Membership

U15s and below:
Membership is included as part of signing up to any of our Cricket Programs during the Summer Season and entitles your child to register on our fixtures system and signup for games. Note: there is a match fee for all games - £7.50 for games where no coach is present and £15 for those with a coach present.

We run various venues and day/time options for all our age groups, so please sign up to the one most convenient for you. Signup is through our class4kids site here: RF Juniors Cricket Programs
We offer sibling as well as second course signups per term discounts as well as discounts for schools and other partners we work with. Stay tuned for our regular juniors email newsletter for details.

Adult Games:
For those juniors wishing to play adult games, please signup the relevant age group Seniors Membership which is collected through Pitchero with the senior memberships in May - details can be found here:
Senior Memberships

Where a family is financially disadvantaged (e.g. qualifies for Pupil Premium or other similar circumstances), course fees may be reduced. It is our aim to ensure that the club is open to the whole community. Please contact Rohan Kapadia, Juniors' Coordinator who will treat all requests in confidence.

Match Selection
In order to participate in matches, you will need to signup to our fixtures system, pitchero. If you want to sign up for matches, please send your child's Name, DoB and your name and preferred email address to the Juniors' Coordinator, who will get you signed up.

Selection is done by Rohan and his team of coaches based on their knowledge of each child gained from their attendance at our Cricket Programs, 1:1s and previous matches. We aim to strike a balance between cricket for all and player development and have planned for enough teams that all abilities will have access to playing games.

Holiday Camps
We generally run holiday camps during most school holidays. The schedules for camps can be found on our class4kids site here:
Holiday Camps Schedule

RCC Parents
Although we do have professional coaching, the club itself is run by volunteers. These parents give their time so that your children are able to get the most out of and enjoy their cricket. We ask that you help out as much as you can and expect that each child has a designated responsible adult at matches to provide support both for the children and the team managers and coach. Further, if you can, please get involved in helping to run the juniors section. We need volunteers to help manage each age group team (coordinating with opposition teams and sending out match details) as well as scorers and umpires for league and friendly matches. Please contact Juniors' Coordinator if you can help.

Website/Email - www.roehamptoncricketclub.com. We are continuing to use Pitchero as our web portal in 2024. Please ensure that your registered email address is correct, as this will remain the principal method for notification of fixtures and team selections (existing members should have already had an email or two from Roehampton and Fulham Juniors in the past, if not then please log onto the website & check your email is listed and validated). Pitchero may have made a few changes to the site layout over the winter, so it’s worth familiarising yourself with the site once more.

Again, if you would like to register for fixtures on our website, please send an email to Juniors' Coordinator

Here's to a fun and enjoyable season!
