Weekly coaching for juniors (Under 8s to Under 16s) starts in mid March and continues to mid July. League matches for U10s, U11s, U12s, U13s, U14s, U15s & U16s start in early May until the season end which is mid July. We intend to arrange friendly matches for the U8s/U9s.

We currently have 2 teams representing the club in the Fuller's Brewery Surrey County League: Premier Division for our 1st XI and Division 1 for our 2nd XI. We also have Sunday sides who play both home and away around the south west of London. Our home matches take place at our ground in picturesque Putney Heath.

New players will most likely start by playing in a Sunday match and progress to the 2nd XI or 1st XI according to their skill levels and desire to play competitive cricket.

We have Winter sessions at the Kia Oval in Vauxhall from February to April and then outdoor summer sessions at the RCC playing ground on Putney Heath. The nets cater for both beginners and experienced players, and non-members are welcome to come along anytime for a taster session.

You can also find a complete fixture list for seniors and colts at RCC's complete fixture lists - this will be updated for the 2014 season on a rolling basis as schedules become available.

It's not just cricket! We also run a series of social events including poker nights, quiz nights, team curries, and of course the annual club dinner. We usually have a BBQs after the Saturday fixtures with post-match 'analysis' at the bar also well attended as both home and away sides tend to meet up at the clubhouse after matches.

Every September the club runs a tour to other regions of England where we take on the locals. Other less regular tours have included France (where we have taken on Mick Jagger's team) and Gibraltar.

Last season we did a tour of Norfolk where we visited Sandringham and Castle Rising, which we will repeat in 2015.

"I joined Roehampton CC for my first season of cricket after coming over from NZ. The atmosphere of the club has been great with players mixing between levels which underlies the club atmosphere. New players are made very welcome and there is a great turnout every Saturday at the clubhouse for the cheapest beers in London and lots of laughs. A great first season and looking forward to leather on willow this coming season."
(Andre Stevenson - 2011)

"At Roehampton CC we play both our League and friendly fixtures for enjoyment: to win, if we can, but always very much within the Spirit of Cricket. Based in South West London, the club is one of the oldest in London. RCC has for many years had a cosmopolitan membership and is well supported by the local community and the active non-playing membership. The club welcomes all standards and ages of players and has an active junior section, with coaching provided, as well as teams competing in the Fuller's Brewery Surrey County League on Saturdays and undertaking friendly fixtures on Sundays. The social amenities of the club are centred around our friendly and lively clubhouse and bar. The club arranges social functions there throughout the year."
(David Foster - Chairman)
