RCC v Badgers

Weather was set fair for what should have been been another long day of sun blessed cricket. The Dodger's captain won the toss and rather ominously put The Cavaliers into bat. The reason for this soon became quite clear with B. Jenkins they're opening fast bowler decimating the top order. He finished with figures of 6 overs, 3 wickets for 5 runs.The rest of the innings continued much the same, with the notable exception of Paddy Healey who managed a hearty blow down the ground for 4.Sooner rather than later the Cavaliers were all out for.............20.
After an early tea the Badgers knocked off the miserable total in 9 balls. The only plus in all this was that it provided the RCC resident comedians plenty of material for the following Tuesday's committee meeting.
