Having won the toss Cavaliers decided to bat on what looked like a good wicket. It may have been but the very testing bowling by the Jesters made life difficult.Once again it was Sacha Hattea who batted very well for 58.Even he admitted that batting was difficult. We later discovered that the Jesters spinner had played for Essex 2nds.The only other creditable score came from Scott Sanders with 26.Cavaliers landed up with a total of 148 all out.
The Jesters in reply batted consistently and reached the target for the loss of 5 wickets. For the Cavaliers Chris Edwards bowled well but a ball seemed to allude the fielders.Gurav Patel had more luck with figures of 11-1-57-3.
Cavaliers made a good game of it but were beaten by a side who bowled very well and only had a modest total to achieve with the bat.
Man of the Match Sacha Hatteea
