Cavaliers V Fleet Street Strollers

Having won the toss,the captain of the Strollers decided to bat.The oppo started of well and were 72 before the Cavaliers first wicket. However the runs were coming fairly slowly due to some tight bowling and good fielding.Then the wickets started to fall as well.Everyone bowled well but the best figures belong to Pukar who managed 4 wickets in 14 overs at an economy of 2.7 per over.let's hope he can repeat this against Shades this weekend.The Strollers then went to 90 for 6 and after a late rally declared on 155 after 37 overs.
In reply,the Cavaliers after the loss of one wicket,Tom Stewart and Dharmesh Vagela,set about the bowling with great purpose.Tom in particular was quite superb,dispatching the ball to all parts of the ground.It was a joy to watch.The Stollers total was reached in 24 overs with Tom 104 and Dharmesh on 37.Dharmesh played a great supporting role in this victory.
