Cavaliers v The Dodgers
Cavaliers record their fourth consecutive win !
Following a fairly dismal display on the attendance front when the Cavaliers were going to fielding 7 player,Sacha Hattea came to the rescue,or rather took pity and decided to play for us.
This meant that we had 8 players and the Dodgers would kindly lend us 2 fielders.
Cavaliers,having won the toss decided to bat.An outstanding 72 from Sacha Hattea and a quick fire 16 from Gurav Patel saw the Cavaliers finishing on 136.
Luckily the bad weather which was forecast held off and after tea the match resumed with the Cavaliers in the field.With only one seamer and two spinners choice of bowling was very limited.Not a problem as Gurav Patel and Dharmesh Vaghela did us proud.Gurav Patel finnished with 7 wickets for 45 runs in 16 overs and Dharmesh Vaghela,2 wickets for 48 in 13 overs.Also some good catches at the end ensured another Cavaliers win.
