Coach's report (Nik Ilukkumbure)
What was good: Athletic sprints to stop boundaries and good use of long barrier close in for reliable stops. Some accurate bowling spells and good keeping. Many batsmen got off the mark and seized opportunities for singles with good defend/attack shot choice, calling and backing up.
Room for improvement: Fielding positions considering the relative numbers in the inner and outer circles appropriate for our bowler choice and opposition batsman strength. Ensure potential big hitters are given an opportunity to bat in the middle order. Clarity in bat over who makes the call to run and when to avoid run outs. Ensure critical bowlers are suitably warmed up. Respect for and never underestimating one's opposition.

Match report (Ewen McNeil)
A very good game, with the old adage "it's never over until it's over" ringing true this week.
RCC won the toss and decided to bat first achieving 99 runs all out off 22 overs. Basty (opening) the pick of the batsmen caught for 29 including 4 boundaries. Alex caught for 13 with, Eddie & Kishan both out for 9 runs playing good supporting roles.
99 runs defendable but accurate bowling and tight fielding very much needed.
A solid attacking bowling start by RCC had Addiscombe reeling at 39/8 after 13 overs. A very stubborn last partnership managed to bring to score to 74/9 off 21 overs.
26 off the final over to win. In the true RCC sporting spirit everyone in the team had a bowl. New bowler, last over, 26 to win...what could possibly go wrong? Loose bowling and sloppy fielding saw the game slip away from RCC. An unbelievable 25 runs off the last over saw a tied finish at 99/9.
Hopefully a lesson learnt. Elliot pick of the bowlers 3 wkts for 1 run off 3 overs (2 maidens).
