Coach's report (Nik Ilukkumbure)
What was good: Generally very tight bowling kept the opposition to a manageable target. In bat, many got off the mark and attempted to run quick singles against superbly accurate tight bowling. All our batsmen were used as batting risk/reward ratios were sensibly increased during the course of the innings.
Room for improvement: With the ball, bowling accuracy and bowler choice to reduce wides and no balls (we gave away 28 in extras); with the bat playing oneself in against top drawer bowling and awareness of fielder positions to avoid catches (6 wickets lost to catches) and find the boundary (RCC 7 4s to Outwood's 9). In the field, energy and going to ground with long barrier to reliably stop bobbling balls
Highlights: Good attack/defend batting choices and energy in the field from Hugh and a brilliantly accurate throw to the stumps by William P
