Cup dream ended for U10s

We performed admirably for long swathes of the game and at two key points looked favourites: at the half-way stage of our innings and after 3 overs of Banstead's.
The running between the wickets was much improved with just one kamikaze moment when Seb was mistaken for Usain Bolt. We had our timbers rattled some eight times though which is still a few too many. Only a couple were to swishes though!
Fielding was mercurial with three tasty run outs, but plenty of overthrows and at least two semi-sitters shelled.
Outstanding innings by Rohan who cracked the last three balls of the partnership to the boundary; and brilliant stuff from Ryen too. I was just finding my scoring feet during Ian and Rohan's barnstorming opening stand of 24.
Looks like Fynn was the bowler of the day, with the only maiden, a wicket maiden at that, in the crucial 16th over the bring the match back to partial life.
Let's close out with a win at Dulwich!
