Pre-Season Nets 2010

Following the successful 2009 season, arrangements have been made for pre-season nets in March and April, 2010.

The sessions will be held in the indoor school at the Brit Oval, Vauxhall, and all the dates listed below include 2 nets and a coach from Surrey CCC.  All are Mondays, with a 7pm start and will last for one hour.

March: 1st, 15th, 29th

April: 12th, 19th, 26th

At the annual Fuller's League Dinner, held on 6th November at Sandown Racecourse, Rohampton CC received the award for Fuller's League Club of the Month for August.

The award was presented by the sponsors.  Jonathan Agnew was the guest speaker on the evening.

During the month of August, RCC 1st XI won all 5 of their games, whilst the 2nd XI won 3 out of 5.

Now that we have reached September, competitive cricket has finished, and a successful club twenty20 day rounded off the Saturday season.  A few awards were also handed out:

  • Most Runs for the 1st XI (& club) – Josh Wright (422 @ average of 47)

    ·         Most Runs for the 2nd XI – Pete Dandy (310 @ average of 28)

    ·         Most Runs for the Sundays – Gaurav Patel (358 @ average of 40)

    ·         Most Wickets for the club – Paul Fuchs (45 @ average of 11)

    ·         Most Wickets for the 1st XI – Jules Vereker (33 @ average of 14)

    ·         Most Wickets for the 2nd XI – Rob Heanley (26 @ average of 13)

    ·         Most Wickets for the Sundays – Tom Whitrow (16 @ average of 16)

    ·         Team Man for the 1st XI – Shak Perera

    ·         Team Man for the 2nd XI – Simon Morgan

    ·         Team Man for the Sundays – Dharmesh Vaghela

    ·         Club Man of the Year – Mark Boag
